What is Qore?
Qore is a platform where your intellectual identity is built through action. It combines a thinking quiz, daily branching moral scenarios, and a progressive thinking profile that evolves with every choice you make.
How does the quiz work?
The quiz presents 7 first-person moral dilemmas that take about 2 minutes to complete. No signup is required. Your answers are weighted across multiple thinking dimensions to determine your primary thinking style.
Is Qore free?
Yes. The quiz, daily scenarios, your thinking profile, and streaks are all free to use. We believe the free tier should be genuinely useful, not a limited demo.
What are the daily scenarios?
Each day you face a branching moral dilemma drawn from real-world events. Over 3 steps, your choices escalate in stakes. After completing, you see wisdom perspectives from four schools of thought and how others navigated the same situation.
What are the 7 thinking styles?
The styles are Stoic (Marcus Aurelius), Pragmatist (Aristotle), Idealist (Plato), Utilitarian (John Stuart Mill), Existentialist (Simone de Beauvoir), Communitarian (Confucius), and Rationalist (Immanuel Kant). Each represents a distinct way of approaching moral decisions.
How does my thinking profile evolve?
Your profile starts with your quiz results and shifts as you complete daily scenarios. The app tracks how your thinking changes across five dimensions: Individual vs Collective, Principle vs Consequence, Action vs Contemplation, Optimist vs Realist, and Freedom vs Order.
How do streaks work?
Complete a scenario each day to build your streak. Miss a day and it resets, but you get one streak freeze per month to protect your progress.
Can I share my quiz results?
Yes. After completing the quiz you get a shareable link with a custom image showing your thinking style, dimensions, and a brief description. It works on WhatsApp, iMessage, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
What data does Qore collect?
We collect your email (if you sign up), quiz responses, and scenario choices. We use anonymous analytics to improve the product. We never sell your data. See our privacy policy for full details.
Is Qore available in other languages?
Currently Qore is available in English. Multi-language support for scenarios is planned for a future update.
