The dilemma

It is a Tuesday in early November and you have two tabs open. The appendix at the back of the monitoring report says the Marsh Road count ran from the twelfth of August to the twentieth of September. The water company's works notice, which you only found because a neighbour complained about parking, closed Marsh Road to through traffic from the ninth of August for six weeks. You asked for those count dates yourself, back in the summer, as the petitioner. Fen's message from an hour ago is still unanswered on your phone: nine days, are we all set.

Your options

  1. Send both dates to the council officer tonight.
  2. Put it to the residents' group first, since the campaign is theirs too.
  3. Ring Fen, because it is her road the number is about.

The Counts from August

Your street is closed to traffic and your kids are safe on it. Tonight you found out the council counted cars on the other road while it was dug up and shut. The vote is in nine days.
