The dilemma

Friday's sentencing needs your letter. Ana Whitlock, the prosecutor, wants it tonight: what Milo gave up, what it was worth, why the court should cut fifteen years down to four. You built this case, so the judge will read your name on it. In the hallway, Danny's family is waiting. His uncle Victor does the talking, and when Danny's mother starts to answer you, he finishes her sentence for her. His phone is up, filming. 'Four years, {{NAME}}. Danny got nothing. We have four thousand signatures and we'll be in that courtroom.'

Your options

  1. Write the letter tonight, exactly as the deal sets out.
  2. Put the letter aside and hear Danny's mother out first.
  3. Ask Ana to delay sentencing and press Milo for the next name up.

The Deal You Made

A drug dealer told you who made the pill that killed a boy. Because of that, he gets eleven years cut from his prison time. Now the boy's family is standing in the hallway, and they want every one of those years back.
